Mahi mahi (Dolphin fish) action is heating up offshore. Solid numbers of these beautiful and tasty fish are hitting the dock daily. Grouper also opened May 1 and on my first bottom fishing trip of the year we landed 8 nice sized Scamp grouper as well as limiting out on Vermillion snapper (B-liners), Silver snapper (Pinky's) , and a few trigger fish thrown in for good measure.
